Packages and hourly-rate consultations
I offer comprehensive college advising packages for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. I also offer a smaller, separate package that focuses just on developing a well-researched, balanced college list.
If you prefer to meet occasionally for advice or feedback, that's fine too. Usually packages end up being more cost-effective, but if you're not sure how much advising you need, an hour-long consultation may be just the right thing. My hourly rates are $150 for the first hour and $125 for each hour after that.
I have considerable expertise and experience with both financial aid and merit aid. If college affordability will be a factor in your college choice, it's important to bring it into the process from the beginning. Applying for aid is one of the last steps; long before that, you should be learning about college finances and seeking out colleges that are likely to offer an excellent financial fit.

Junior/Senior year package
This package includes comprehensive guidance throughout the college admissions process. Ideally, this process should begin in the junior year, but it is possible to start later. This is a flat rate package; if you start in the middle of junior year you will get 18 months of one-on-one college advising.
Usually we begin with a meeting that includes the student and parents, and then I meet regularly with the student. Email, phone, and skype meetings are available if face-to-face meetings are not convenient. Parent questions and feedback are welcome at any time.
